In yet another example of moral narcissism and the liberal inability to understand conservative positions on faith, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi declared that her party, the Democratic Party, does the will of God while Republicans dishonor their Creator. -Tyler O'Neil
Caitlin Flanagan captured the essence of the problem in The Atlantic, where she described the tone of political comedy shows like Oliver’s as “imbued with the conviction that they and their fans are intellectually and morally superior to those who espouse any of the beliefs of the political right.” -Fred Campbell

The CEO of an Albuquerque-based internet marketing firm has issued a letter telling clients who support President-elect Donald Trump to take their business elsewhere.
Mathew Blanchfield, who runs 1st in SEO, posted the letter describing Mr. Trump as “a racist, sexist, fascist” earlier this month on his company’s website. He said that while he remains committed to his liberal clients, he “will no longer do business with any person that is a registered Republican or supports Donald Trump.”
Trump's presidency will give a lot of people on the left what they want: Opportunity for constant feelings of outrage and moral superiority.— Josh Barro (@jbarro) December 27, 2016
"The welfare state is not really about the welfare of the masses. It is about the egos of the elites."
A Fake Patina of Morality and "Science"...
If you challenge climate change alarmism, you're a denier of science. If you believe Obamacare is flawed policy, you support killing poor Americans. If you support tax cuts, you're a pawn of the plutocracy.
There is a perfunctory reaction for every issue; a prefabricated smear devised just for the occasion.
Every one is meant to circumvent debate while imbuing the Left's position with a (fake) patina of morality and "science."
Its attitude is key to understanding our bipartisan ruling class.
Its first tenet is that “we” are the best and brightest while the rest of Americans are retrograde, racist, and dysfunctional unless properly constrained.
"Some of the most vocal critics of the way things are being done are people who have done nothing themselves, and whose only contributions to society are their complaints and moral exhibitionism."
Hoax Paper: "The conceptual penis as a social construct"
We intended to test the hypothesis that flattery of the academic Left’s moral architecture in general, and of the moral orthodoxy in gender studies in particular, is the overwhelming determiner of publication in an academic journal in the field.
That is, we sought to demonstrate that a desire for a certain moral view of the world to be validated could overcome the critical assessment required for legitimate scholarship.
Particularly, we suspected that gender studies is crippled academically by an overriding almost-religious belief that maleness is the root of all evil. On the evidence, our suspicion was justified.
It’s noticeable how often virtue signalling consists of saying you hate things. It is camouflage. The emphasis on hate distracts from the fact you are really saying how good you are. -James Bartholomew
Julian Bond, SNCC’s founder, has reasonably mocked the modern historical narrative as being little more than “Rosa sat down, Martin stood up, and the white kids came down and saved the day.” -Charles C. W. Cooke
Hey Democrats, want help to rally the country around Donald Trump? Here’s a great idea: Have a crowd of wealthy, out-of-touch Manhattan liberals (who can afford $849 tickets to “Hamilton”) boo Vice President-elect Mike Pence while the cast of the Broadway show lectures him on diversity. -Marc A. Thiessen
They think they are superior and therefore their view should prevail. They also think they are morally superior because they hold to the views which they were told were virtuous.
Anyone who appears not to subscribe to these views must, of necessity, be a sinner or else appallingly misled by the Daily Mail or some other evil force. It is outrageous to the elite that the work of the Devil should prevail. -James Bartholomew
