As international tensions heat up over Syria, many global warming activists are trying to capitalize on the situation by blaming man-made global warming for the conflict. Specifically climate change promoters are blaming recent droughts on global warming.
Social justice activist teachers see natural disasters like the recent Hurricane Sandy as opportunities to bring their political agendas into the classroom. And they rarely miss an opportunity. Writing for the far-left Zinn Education Project (named for the late communist professor Howard Zinn), Portland, Oregon high school teacher Tim Swinehart opined: “Hurricane Sandy, and the superstorms that will follow, are not just acts of nature—they are products of a massive theft of the atmospheric commons shared by all life on the planet. Every dollar of profit made by fossil fuel companies relies on polluting our shared atmosphere with harmful greenhouse gases, stealing what belongs to us all. But if we don’t teach students the history of the commons, they’ll have a hard time recognizing what—and who—is responsible for today’s climate crisis.”

Climate change is poised to affect the health of Americans in every part of the country, a new report says. The report, published today (March 15), comes from a new group made up of 11 medical organizations, including allergists, pediatricians, infectious-disease doctors, OB/GYNs and gerontologists. "Doctors in every part of our country see that climate change is making Americans sicker," Dr. Mona Sarfaty, the director of the new group, called the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health, said in a statement.

Hillary Clinton was campaigning in Coralville, Iowa on Tuesday and addressed the growing Syrian refugee crisis where hundreds of thousands of people have poured into Europe. Why many blame crisis on the nearly five-year long Syrian Civil War, the Democratic frontrunner had a different diagnosis.

Although the four dead bears cited in the paper were observed from 1,500 feet during flights over the Beaufort Sea, and the carcasses were never recovered or examined, Gleason told investigators it is likely the creatures drowned in a sudden windstorm that produced 30-knot winds, not for lack of an ice pack.

As predictable as the timing of the tides, a left wing think tank blames global warming for the recent tornadoes. But I must admit, Think Progress cut to the chase to save time when future weather events occur. Hours after a massive earthquake rattled Japan, environmental advocates connected the Natural Disaster to Global Warming. The president of the European Economic and Social Committee, Staffan Nilsson, issued a statement calling for solidarity in tackling the global warming problem. “Some islands affected by climate change have been hit,” said Nilsson. “Has not the time come to demonstrate on solidarity — not least solidarity in combating and adapting to climate change and global warming?” “Mother Nature has again given us a sign that that is what we need to do,” he added.
