The day after the vice presidential debate Joe Biden stopped by a rally and told the crowd Republicans will defund Planned Parenthood, and ”by law, Planned Parenthood cannot perform any abortion.” Karen at The Lonely Conservative has the story and says only 48% of college students know that Planned Parenthood performs abortions of any kind, let alone one abortion every 95 seconds, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in 2009. -Maggies Notebook Go To Site

During Tuesday's second presidential debate, President Barack Obama said that women "rely" on Planned Parenthood for mammograms, but, according to the Food and Drug Administration, no Planned Parenthood facility in the United States is licensed to do mammograms. Go To Site

When President Obama and other Planned Parenthood partisans were making their mammogram claims, Alliance Defending Freedom filed a Freedom of Information Act request to seek any certificates held by any Planned Parenthood clinic or affiliate in the country. The response from President Obama’s own HHS is that no such certificates exist.

No Planned Parenthood affiliate in the nation possesses the necessary certification to perform mammograms under federal law. Subsequent e-mails to the department further confirmed this fact. Federal law provides that anyone operating a mammography device without such a certificate is subject to substantial fines of up to $10,000. -LifeNews, "Obama Admin Concedes Planned Parenthood Doesn’t Do Mammograms" Go To Site

Planned Parenthood does not manage a single licensed mammography facility in the U.S. Not one. Of the 8,735 licensed mammography facilities in America, Planned Parenthood operates exactly zero. How do we know this? Because the U.S. Food and Drug Administration keeps a list of every licensed facility in the country. It updates this list weekly. And the most recent list of the more than 8,700 licensed mammogram facilities in the U.S. shows that not one is operated by Planned Parenthood.

We Do Mammograms.

Oops.

Sanger, after all, despised abortion. She denounced it as “barbaric” and called abortionists “bloodsucking men with M.D. after their names.” Abortion resulted in “an outrageous slaughter” and “the killing of babies,” which even the degenerate offspring of the unfit did not deserve. -Jonah Goldberg Go To Site

Nearly 2,000 pro-lifers called local Planned Parenthood clinics Oct. 18 to schedule mammograms, after President Obama implied the organization offers the service. Planned Parenthood does not actually provide women with mammograms, but refers patients out to other facilities for the exam. “Call it for what it is … if you're not doing mammograms, don't say that you do them,” Kate Bryan, communications director for Live Action, told EWTN News Oct. 19.

The government-subsidized abortion racket is at it again — and undercover journalist Lila Rose and her Live Action team are exposing the Planned Parenthood predators in full effect. The latest investigative video shows doctors and nurses in Appleton, WI advising a young girl that having an abortion is “much safer than having a baby.”

Turns out, supporters have continued to assert that Planned Parenthood offers mammograms even though it has been debunked for years. -Michelle Ye Hee Lee Go To Site

The first video in its new series, “The Prenatal Care Deception,” shows that Planned Parenthood’s prenatal care services are “virtually nonexistent.”

Only five of the 97 facilities it contacted across the United States provided prenatal care; the rest turned them away, according to the investigation.

“Planned Parenthood offers abortions, so they don’t offer prenatal care,” a receptionist at the Planned Parenthood in Tempe, Arizona told a Live Action investigator.

Another receptionist at the Albany, New York facility told them, “No Planned Parenthood does prenatal care, hon.”

A third in Merrillville, Indiana said: “No, we don’t do prenatal services. I mean, it’s called Planned Parenthood, I know it’s kind of deceiving.” Go To Site

As a medical assistant at Planned Parenthood, Ta’Lisa Hairston urged pregnant women to take rest breaks at work, stay hydrated and, please, eat regular meals.

Then she got pregnant and couldn’t follow her own advice.

Last winter, Ms. Hairston told the human-resources department for Planned Parenthood’s clinic in White Plains, N.Y., that her high blood pressure was threatening her pregnancy. She sent the department multiple notes from her nurse recommending that she take frequent breaks.

Managers ignored the notes. They rarely gave her time to rest or to take a lunch break, Ms. Hairston said.

“I had to hold back tears talking to pregnant women, telling them to take care of their pregnancies when I couldn’t take care of mine,” she said. “It made me jealous.”
