President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, bragged about smoking crack with former Washington D.C. Mayor Marion Barry in a recording published by the Daily Mail on Friday.
“You know what, I actually smoked crack with Marion Barry, I swear to f***ng god,'” Hunter is heard on the recording in a 2019 conversation with an unnamed friend.
Hunter, now 51, said he was a junior at Georgetown University at the time he smoked with Barry, who died in 2014. Barry was an infamous addict who spent six months in federal prison following an FBI sting operation in 1990 after he was caught on camera smoking in a hotel room.

Newly released dashcam footage shows the day Michigan Rep. Jewell Jones (D-Inkster) was arrested in Livingston County after he allegedly drunkenly crashed his SUV. Jones, 26, is facing numerous charges in connection with an alleged drunken driving crash April 6.
Jones allegedly had a blood-alcohol level more than twice the legal limit as he drove for at least 50 miles from Southfield to Fowlerville with his Glock pistol in the cupholder before crashing. Jones is accused of becoming combative with police and a paramedic who tried to help after the crash...
He is accused of telling officers he will call Gov. Gretchen Whitmer on them, even referring to her by her first name, and threatening the officers by telling them he runs the state budget.

Meridian attorney Rod Amos who ran in the Democrat Primary for mayor was arrested early Sunday by Meridian police. Department spokesman Capt. Dean Harper confirmed Amos was arrested just after 3 a.m. and faces several charges, all misdemeanors. U.S. District Judge Thomas Penfield Jackson, saying that D.C. Mayor Marion Barry had violated the public trust, yesterday sentenced Barry to six months in prison and ordered him to pay a $5,000 fine for his conviction of cocaine possession.
Jackson said Barry "has given aid, comfort and encouragement to the drug culture at large, and contributed to the anguish that illegal drugs have inflicted on this city."

CNN obtained a statement from a congressional source later Friday in which Capitol Hill Police said an initial probe showed supervisors did not handle the accident properly at the scene.
