Working with the George Soros-funded marijuana movement, which has achieved enormous "progress" in the various states, especially Colorado, a group called the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is demanding acceptance of "psychedelics," or mind-altering drugs that create hallucinations, to be accepted as "legal prescription drugs."
Kim Ridgway and her wife, Kimberly Bliss, can well envision the shop they plan to open — where they'll put the accessories, the baked goods and the shelves stacked with their valuable product: jars of high-quality marijuana.
“Women don’t like pot for the most part. It’s a man drug. What they really don’t like is a useless, stoned man…pot makes you stupid, poor company and a poor provider.” -Jane V., Instapundit reader
Starbucks Tolerates The Intolerable
The Fruits of Liberalism: January 2019
With the goal of accommodation, #Starbucks has taken its eye off the ball and put its own employees in harms way. Some workers are forced to clean up dirty needles in bathrooms, leading to a petition for disposal boxes. Tragedy of the commons strikes againhttps://t.co/wfG6RrpOQS

For the first time, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development.
Researchers found persistent users of the drug, who started smoking it at school, had lower IQ scores as adults. They were also significantly more likely to have attention and memory problems in later life, than their peers who abstained.

The Vancouver Police Department arrested a man on the charge of driving under the influence of marijuana in connection with a deadly crash in Vancouver... The driver, Scotty Rowles, was driving westbound on East Mill Plain Boulevard and could not stop his car in time, according to police. Detectives says Rowles cooperated with the investigation, but after interviewing him they determined there was enough evidence to arrest him on suspicion of driving under the influence of marijuana. Police believe this is the first deadly crash involving the drug since it became legal in the state of Washington.
