The Log Cabin Republicans are calling on Representative Scott Peters (D., Calif.) to apologize for a post on his campaign website that used a pejorative term for his Republican challenger, Carl DeMaio, who is gay. The group takes issue with a post by Democratic political consultant and gay-rights activist John Aravosis on Peters’s website. After quoting DeMaio saying he feels more intolerance and hostility from the LGBT community for being Republican than from social conservatives for being gay, Aravosis snarks, “Oh Mary, it’s so hard to be you.”

Tyler Drum, a 21-year-old homosexual aide to Democrat state Senator Irene Aguilar, was fired on the spot from his position in the Colorado Senate because he allegedly visited the office of a fellow college aide who happens to work for a Republican. Drum, a 2013 graduate of Colorado State University, told Campus Reform that Aguilar did not explain why he had been fired... “I thought this would happen on the Republican side, now I’m a disenchanted Democrat.”... “She just said leadership was uncomfortable with me befriending Republicans,” Drum said.
Don’t hold this against me, but I’m going to blurt it out. How do I say this … men in the South, they are a little effeminate,’ he offered when I mentioned the stunning news. Baldwin started by writing, “Someone wrote that my wife was tweeting at a funeral. Hey. That’s not true. But I’m gonna tweet at your funeral.” Then the hot-headed actor — no stranger to fits of fury and Twitter rampages — directed his venom at a Mail Online reporter — and things got ugly fast. “George Stark, you lying little b----h. I am gonna f%#@ you up,” the actor tweeted, linking to the article on the Daily Mail’s website. Next came a pair of tweets tinged with gay slurs. “(I’d) put my foot up your f---king ass, George Stark, but I’m sure you’d dig it too much,” Baldwin wrote.

“You a registered Democrat?” he asked an elderly woman wheeling a shopping cart by him. “I am,” she said. “And I’m not voting for uh, what’s her name? The dyke.” “Okay. I just need you to sign the petition to get me on the ballot,” said Weiner, who then noticed the incredulous reaction of a reporter and added, “and you really shouldn’t talk that way about people.” “Oh, I’m sorry,” the woman said. “It’s okay,” Weiner responded. “It’s not your fault.”

Last night Ross Hemminger, Youth Coordinator for the Scott Brown for Senate campaign, was heckled by pro-Warren supporters at the Brown-Warren debate. A source at the event told me that the hecklers were union members who were oganized by the Warren campaign for a “stand-out.” The incident happened when Hemminger started chanting “Go, Scott, go!” on the megaphone. The Warren supporters chanted back “You sound gay!” A few others chimed in “You take it up the a**!”
Fred Phelps is dead. I met Phelps once during the 1990 Kansas governor race. What many do not know about Phelps is that he was active in Civil Right law in the state of Kansas during the 1960’s and he was a registered Democrat; a man of the left only he was a leftist who hated gays. -Tom Donelson
