Pledge to vote for feminist women only. Don’t run for office. Don’t be in charge of anything. Step away from the power. We got this. And please know that your crocodile tears won’t be wiped away by us anymore.
We have every right to hate you. You have done us wrong. #BecausePatriarchy. It is long past time to play hard for Team Feminism. And win.

“We can’t waste the spotlight. Change is needed. Life is short. And women are smarter than men,” the first lady said, adding that men "can't complain" because they're outnumbered.

The Dalai Lama said Friday that more women are needed in leadership roles because they are more compassionate than men, who are valued instead for their ability to “kill.”
“Women have been shown to be more sensitive to others’ suffering, whereas, warriors celebrated for killing their opponents are almost always men,” he tweeted in celebration of International Women’s Day celebrated on March 8.
“We need to see more women in leadership roles and more closely involved in education about compassion,” he said.

A topless activist tried to snatch baby Jesus from the Nativity scene in St. Peter’s Square in Rome on Monday. The activist, with the radical women’s group FEMEN, jumped over the railing around the scene and lunged for the statue of Jesus before she was foiled by a Vatican guard. The woman screamed, “God is woman!” and had the same slogan painted on her back...
“A child is not from a god, but from a woman! For a woman is God!” FEMEN’s Web site wrote in its coverage of Monday’s near-snatching. Another FEMEN activist undertook a similar caper back in 2014 on Christmas Day — successfully grabbing the baby Jesus from the altar before she was detained.

A feminist professor at Occidental College recently argued that men must renounce their masculinity and “denounce anyone who chooses to identify with it.” Lisa Wade, a sociology professor at Occidental, published an essay for Public Books calling for people to “attack masculinity directly” to help the nation survive in the wake of President Trump, who she says perpetuates a “vile enactment of masculinity.”
More recently, Wade called for fraternities to be abolished because they “hoard power” for “wealthy white men,” and noted that she doesn’t “think it is a good idea to be encouraging young males to identify specifically as men.”

A university in the United States has begun offering classes in “constructive male allyship,” providing a space where male students are able to “question and deconstruct toxic masculinities.”
Duke University, based in the city of Durham, North Carolina, held its first Learning Community session last week. The women’s centre has organised a nine-week series of seminars, as part of the Duke Men’s Project.
For decades, feminists (and their self-loathing male accomplices) have been trying to browbeat men into acting more like women under the premise — false as it turns out — that emasculated men would be better partners and we could finally achieve societal Utopia (or something). -Paula Bolyard

Competence, meanwhile belongs to the women, particularly in the usually macho world of global finance.. Perhaps this will be remembered as the week when everything shifted, when we realized that leaving groups of men in charge of global decisions and of facing down terrorists is not a good idea, and we'd better calmly hand the reins over to the women. -Hanna Rosin, CNN

Women would do a better job than men of solving the current government stalemate, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) said on Monday -- because "a woman doesn't want to ruin the person on the other side of the aisle or the table."
"If we put all the women, Republican and Democrat, in the House together, the consensus from all of us is that we would get this done in a few hours," Wasserman Schultz -- the head of the Democratic National Committee -- told MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

A few years ago, a feminist political party proposed a law requiring men to sit while urinating—less messy and more equal. In 2004, the leader of the Sweden's Left Party Feminist Council, Gudrun Schyman, proposed a "man tax"—a special tariff to be levied on men to pay for all the violence and mayhem wrought by their sex.
In April 2012, following the celebration of International Women's Day, the Swedes formally introduced the genderless pronoun "hen" to be used in place of he and she (han and hon). - Christina Hoff Sommers

A blistering federal discrimination suit accuses agency honcho Janet Napolitano of turning the department into a female-run “frat house” where male staffers were banished to the bathrooms and routinely humiliated.
James Hayes Jr., who now is New York’s top Homeland Security cop, claims Napolitano filled top spots in Washington, D.C., with two of her gal pals who were bent on tormenting male employees. The suit identified them as Dora Schriro, who is now running the city Department of Correction, and Suzanne Barr, the chief of staff for the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Soon after Schriro and Barr were hired in January 2009, male staffers were treated like lapdogs, Hayes claims. Barr “moved the entire contents of the offices of three employees, including name plates, computers and telephones, to the men’s bathroom at ICE headquarters,” the suit says.
There are women who unapologetically hate men. Scrolling through Instagram the other day, I noticed an author whose work I admire wearing a misandry t-shirt. She suggested it should be a “staff uniform” for her magazine. When I asked her via email if the t-shirt was ironic, she wrote back saying, “To me, there’s nothing ironic about misandry. I really do hate men. A lot.” -Hayley Krischer, Salon

We men just make bad decisions. We can't help it. We’re men. Women, on the other hand, do almost everything better. We’ve known this intuitively for a long time. If you didn’t, just ask your wife or your mother.
But now there’s a raft of evidence that suggests women are better at everything — including investing.

Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., said here too there is a key difference between how men and women express their personal and political ambitions.
"I think the thing is, is that every man wakes up in the morning and looks in the mirror and says, 'I could be president.'
I think every woman looks in the mirror and says, 'What can I get done for my country today?' "

Feinstein said that women are more effective working in Congress because of these traits that they bring to the table. "We're less on testosterone," Feinstein said. "We don't have that need to always be confrontational. And I think we're problem solvers, and I think that's what this country needs."
Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, agreed. "Maybe it is the testosterone that you speak to, Dianne, or the ego that is attached there."
