This non-profit is funded by the City of San Francisco, the National Endowment for the Arts, Bloomberg Philanthropies, and the James Irvine Foundation.

Black Lives Matter protesters marching on the Minnesota state fair on Saturday spewed violent anti-cop rhetoric just hours after a Harris County, Tex. sheriff’s deputy was ambushed and executed at a Houston-area gas station. “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon,” activists with the St. Paul, Minn. branch of Black Lives Matter chanted while marching behind a group of police officers down a highway just south of the state fair grounds.
He asks people at the rally what “we” should do after impeaching Clarence Thomas to get justice for Anita Hill, and he gets some mighty interesting answers: Send him “back to the fields.” “String him up.” “Hang him.” “Torture.”

The Texas podcast that called for the lynching of white people and the killing of cops appears to have been taken down from their page... The podcast called for people to kill cops just days prior to the execution of a Harris County sheriff’s deputy. The Texas-based radio show’s guests called for lynching white people and taking pictures of them hanging in trees. Another caller spoke of the need for blacks to kill cops to “turn the tide.”

Metropolitan police are investigating Saturday morning assault and robbery as a hate bias incident. Police said a man, 28, from Bethesda, Md., was attacked in the 1700 block of Euclid Street, Northwest, in Adams Morgan. The victim said he was approached by three black males who kicked and punched him to the ground. According the victim, one of the attackers yelled, “This is for Trayvon,” during the assault.

“Where there is no justice, there will be no peace. Soon the law of retaliation may very well be applied,” Farrakhan wrote, including the hashtag #Trayvon to clarify the subject of his angst. “Let us see what kind of justice will come for his bereaved family and our bereaved community,”
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo praised the Ramos family for the dignity with which they handled the death of their patriarch. He also praised the police for their handling of "false and abusive insults" during protests. "What a beautiful testimony to their professionalism." Cuomo said "an attack on the NYPD is an attack on all of us."
