Authorities said Willem Van Spronsen, 69, was armed with a rifle and flares when he attacked the private Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility.
According to a local report, a man that authorities say attacked an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in Tacoma, Washington over the weekend repeatedly used the same "concentration camp" rhetoric which socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) injected into U.S. politics last month, in a manifesto that he allegedly wrote.

Last weekend, a 69-year-old man, armed with a rifle, threw "incendiary devices" at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention center in Tacoma, Wash. Police killed him but not before he ignited a car and tried to get a propane tank to explode.
The man, later identified as Willem Van Spronsen, had written a manifesto condemning ICE detention centers as "concentration camps," echoing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).
Ocasio-Cortez refused to condemn Van Spronsen's attack when confronted in the halls of Congress. PJ Media reached out to her office and she refused to comment before press time.

Police said Spronsen was arrested last year during a protest at the same ICE center, when he was found to be carrying a collapsible baton and knife in his pocket after he wrapped his arms around a police officer’s throat in an alleged attempt to free another protester.

An armed man was fatally shot Saturday after throwing what authorities called “incendiary devices” at an immigration detention center in Washington state and trying to set a commercial-size propane tank on fire, according to Tacoma police.
About 4 a.m., 69-year-old Willem Van Spronsen threw “lit objects” at buildings and at cars in a parking lot, police said, causing a vehicle to go up in flames. Court records show the man was arrested last year at a protest at the privately owned detention center, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement called the man an “anti-immigration-enforcement protester.”...
“This could have resulted in the mass murder of staff and detainees housed at the facility had he been successful at setting the tank ablaze,” Shawn Fallah, who heads the ICE Office of Professional Responsibility, said in a statement.

The 69-year-old armed man killed by Washington state police as he attacked a local Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center Saturday sent a manifesto to friends the day before the assault in which he wrote "I am Antifa," and was being lionized by members of the leftwing group as a "martyr."

Van Spronsen was armed with a rifle and incendiary devices when he launched his assault on the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma around 4 a.m. Saturday, according to the Tacoma Police Department. Employees reported he was throwing 'incendiary devices' and setting vehicles on fire and the first officers on the scene said he was wearing a sachet and carrying flares.
Van Spronsen was trying to ignite a propane tank when he was confronted by the officers, who opened fire.
