This week, menacing union goons unleashed threats, profanity and punches in Michigan, which is now poised to become a “right-to-work” state. Obama met the initial outbreak of violence with the same response he’s given to every other union outbreak of violence under his reign: dead silence. On the floor of the Michigan legislature on Tuesday, Democratic state Rep. Douglas Geiss thundered: “We’re going to pass something that will undo 100 years of labor relations, and there will be blood. Go To Site

Today, union thugs brought their crusade against workplace freedom to an ugly, violent head in Lansing, Michigan. A mob of knife-wielding labor goons slashed an Americans for Prosperity tent to pieces, repeatedly punched comedian Steven Crowder in the face and threatened to kill him with a gun. Go To Site

A speaker at a union protest against right-to-work legislation said if Gov. Rick Snyder signed the bill he would get "no rest" and that protesters would be at his "daughter's soccer game." "Just know one thing, Rick Snyder: You sign that bill, you won't get no rest," Williams said. "We'll meet you on Geddes Road. We'll be at your daughter's soccer game. We'll visit you at your church. We'll be at your office. "Because Michigan workers will not take it laying down — by any means necessary!" he said. Geddes Road is where the Snyder residence is located.

Clinton Tarver has been serving hot dogs to hungry locals in downtown Lansing, Mich., for the last five years, but a brush this week with a pro-union protest literally upended his small business in a matter of minutes. During a protest against right-to-work legislation in Michigan's capital, Tarver’s catering supplies were destroyed when demonstrators tore down the tent where he was serving and trampled his gear. “I kept explaining that I was just here to do a job, that I wasn’t on anybody’s side, but when people started calling me racial slurs, my friend who works at the Capitol told me I had to get out of there, so I crawled out,” said Tarver, who is black.

Union protesters called hot dog vendor “Uncle Tom” and “N*gger” but you won’t hear about it in the mainstream media. I have posted numerous times about the union violence in Lansing, including punches thrown at Steven Crowder and the tearing down of the Americans for Prosperity tent even as bystanders screamed that there were people inside. You may also have heard the story of the hot dog vendor whose equipment and supplies were deliberately destroyed by the union protesters. But unless you read conservative blogs and websites, you have not heard that the union protesters shouted racial slurs at the man, including the N-word. -William A. Jacobson

“It was terrible,” Tarver said of yesterday. ”I lost two tables, all my utensils, all my catering equipment, they smashed my buns, my coolers.” Tarver said that the union protesters assumed he was with AFP because he was in close proximity to their tent. Even though he repeatedly told them that he was not, it didn’t stop the union protesters from destroying his property as he stood by and watched helplessly. Tarver confirmed what other outlets have reported, that union protesters called him racial slurs and he explains that he just stood there and took it. Tarver said that Republican Michigan lawmaker Joe Hune is paying to replace all of his lost equipment and supplies.

As the union members attacked the Americans For Prosperity tent, a woman cried out “there are people under there, oh my G-d” (at 1:20). At 1:40, as union members start walking on top of the collapsed tent, a man shouted “hey, there are people in there” but again the crowd didn’t stop, and the union members continued walking on the collapsed tent defiantly as the crowd shouted obscenities and cheered.

The Michigan House Democrats tweeted out a call to violence today over the right to work bill that was passed by Republicans in the House and Senate. “We are going to undo 100 years of labor relations. And there will be blood. We will relive the battle of Overpass.” -Geiss. The Democrats later removed the tweet.
