This little fracas happened earlier today in Dallas, as WFAA reporter Brett Shipp tried entering Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Prices’s county office. That office is, of course, public property. But Price’s aide first tried keeping Shipp from entering, then Price himself gives the reporter a hard shove to keep him out. Democratic strategist James Carville cursed out unvaccinated individuals on his podcast last week, saying anyone without a vaccine was a "piece of s--t" and he wanted to punch them in the face...

  Carville continued by suggesting a law giving immunity to anyone for punching an unvaccinated person.

  "I wish what they’d do is pass a law to make you immune from liability if you punch some unvaccinated person right in the face, which I’d really like to do. A Facebook dispute boiled over into real life on Monday when a Democrat drove over to another man's home and shot him. Brian Sebring, 44, of Tampa, Florida, was arrested for shooting Alex Stephens, 46, also of Tampa, in the thigh and buttocks after their online disagreement.

  Police say the row began when the two men disagreed over politics on Facebook, and Stephens reportedly began sending Sebring 'explicit messages and threats'. In response, Sebring armed himself with an AR-15 and a Glock and drove over to Stephens' house in Wallace Ave - just two miles away from his own home, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

During their meeting, Sam Pernick, president of the Young Democrats of Michigan, and other Sanders supporters—who nearly outnumbered the rest of the attendees at the meeting—protested the lack of transparency and openness exercised by the Michigan Democratic Party, which rigged the DNC delegate nomination process behind closed doors.

  Michigan Democratic Party officials responded with force. Pernick and several others were nearly dragged out of the meeting. Pernick is pursuing charges, and the Westland Police Department recently issued Mike Stone, a senior Michigan Democratic Party official, a ticket for assault and battery.

An Indiana councilman facing murder and federal drug charges was re-elected Tuesday after running unopposed. East Chicago 3rd District Councilman Robert “Coop” Battle, a Democrat, spent Election Day in the Lake County Jail pending a murder charge for the Oct. 12 shooting death of Reimundo Camarillo Jr., the Munster Times reported. He also faces a federal drug charge after police say they found more than 73 pounds of marijuana and more than $100,000 cash during a Porter County traffic stop, the Times reported. Mr. Battle’s attorney, John Cantrell, said he plans to keep his client informed about council business while he is in jail.

A former Democratic congressional aide has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing two women who were under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The Washington Post (http://tinyurl.com/kcvclzk) reports that 37-year-old Donny Ray Williams pleaded guilty Tuesday in D.C. Superior Court. Williams had served as a staff director for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee.

  Both of the assaults occurred in 2010. Prosecutors say Williams invited a colleague to his apartment, where he spiked her drink with a sleep aid and raped the woman while she was asleep. Prosecutors plan to seek a suspended prison term and five years of supervised probation.

A former Democratic congressional aide pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexually assaulting two women in 2010. Donny Ray Williams Jr., 37, who served as a staff director for the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs subcommittee, pleaded guilty to third-degree sexual abuse, two misdemeanor counts of sexual abuse and one count of misdemeanor threats.

Florida Democrat Alan Grayson is under investigation for domestic violence according to a statement from Capt. Angelo Nieves of Florida's Orange County Sheriff's Office. Along with submitting pictures which reportedly support the allegations, Grayson's wife also alleges that Grayson told her he would leave her "In the gutter" with nothing in the presence of the couple's young children. Grayson co-sponsored the 2013 re-authorization of the Violence Against Women Act.

Yesterday the Massachusetts state house voted, 146–5, to expel Representative Carlos Henriquez, a Democrat who was convicted in January of assaulting a woman... Former San Diego Mayor Bob Filner, driven from office by sexual harassment allegations, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a felony and two misdemeanors for unwanted physical contact with three women at public events.... The felony involved a woman restrained against her will at a fundraiser. The misdemeanors involved a woman who was kissed without permission and a woman whose buttocks were grabbed. The victims were identified only as Jane Does. The plea deal also requires mental health treatment.

UPDATE: More details on the incident: It involved a beer bottle, which Monserrate allegedly used to cut his girlfriend, Karla Giraldo, 30, in or around her left eye so badly that she required 20 to 40 stiches.

Just yesterday, Monserrate, a soon-to-be-ex Councilman, was hailed by his Council colleagues on what was his last day at City Hall.

In September, Monserrate won an uncontested primary for the seat once held by former Sen. John Sabini, who had own run-in with the law (he was arrested for drunken driving in Albany).
